This rebrand for a prominent community hospital in northern New Jersey is part of an extensive project that included a redesigned logo, a new website and a large variety of print and internal collateral.
In October 2014, the new Communications Director approached SOS about a rapid rebranding project for the hospital – they needed a new identity before the end of the year, and a fully-realized branding styleguide for the large organization’s many centers and departments. Through our in-depth analysis, SOS recognized an opportunity to develop a brand that reflected the modern facilities and staff, but also gave a nod to the impressive 125 year history of the institution. Using bold, graphic colors and elegant typography, we crafted a flexible, dynamic new visual identity that was quickly adopted organization-wide. The new fully-responsive website (launching next month) was rebuilt from scratch on a flexible Wordpress CMS.
The site’s structure and presentation is based on a highly user-centric approach. The Hospital will communicate its online news, marketing messages, and information in a way that best fits the interests and requirements of current and potential patients, visitors, and community members. The overall look is bold, clean, and friendly; and the new identity is pervasive throughout the site.
